Klerksdorp – September 2025 — Hoërskool Wesvalia is celebrating outstanding performances from its cyclists, who secured multiple podium finishes at the recent races in Parys this past weekend.
The Wessie riders showed grit and determination across several age groups, bringing home first, second, and third-place honours.
Podium Results:
Under-19 Girls: 1st place – Mieke Janse van Rensburg
Under-19 Boys: 2nd place – Christopher Steenkamp
Under-17 Girls: 1st place – Eva Brace; 2nd place – Lillibet van Heerden
Under-14 Girls: 3rd place – Olivia Brace
“These achievements are the result of months of hard work and training,” said Marietjie Payne of Wesvalia. “We are proud of every cyclist who competed and represented the school with excellence.”
Wesvalia continues to build on its tradition of sporting excellence, inspiring learners to aim high both on and off the track.
